All algorithms developed by iDRiSi belong to the machine learning and artificial intelligence domains. The AI techniques were used in all several layers:

  1. Post-Calibration process: after the site was calibrated we run several algorithms for noisy signal measurements in the calibration process. Moreover, we use the AI algorithms in order to rank the calibration points. Moreover, we use the AI in order to evaluate the quality of the whole calibration.
  2. Location computation: iDRiSi’s location algorithm are based on Machine Learning. Based on the calibration points we compute the new location using only the RSSI values.
  3. Realtime noise detection: using AI algorithms we detect noise gateways of failed gateways, filling the missing signals using statistics methods.
  4. Realtime maintenance notification: the system notifies the admin for failed gateways or bad sensors based on the RSSI values.
