iDRiSi - Indoor Location Solution

 Smartphone based indoor location

Smartphones has technology capabilities and sensors that make the smartphone a powerful computing machine.
For indoor location, the smartphone can get wireless (WiFior Bluetooth) signals and calculate its location by running iDRiSi’s SDK.
iDRiSi supports running its indoor location product on Android smartphone.

Sensor based indoor location

The more general case is attaching a sensor to an asset and tracking the asset by running iDRiSi’s software on a server.
As can be seen in the following figure, the sensors attached to an asset transmit Bluetooth signals. Those signals are received by gateways that are installed in fixed locations inside the building.
iDRiSi server gets the gateways measurements and performs the calculation.
